About the project
Swansea Community Farm required support to develop their evaluation capacity but with insufficient resources to contract an external evaluator.
What we did
We conducted a self-evaluation workshop, involving directors, staff and volunteers, which developed a clear logic framework for the project, linking needs to measurable outcomes and considering practical means of measuring impact that were appropriate to the available resources of time and finance. We delivered a follow-up training session on measurement techniques.
Results of our work
The workshop and follow up were very well received and the organisation is implementing the evaluation mechanisms.
