Lauren has over 15 years’ experience in the purpose-driven sector in Wales, specialising in fundraising and organisational development.
Lauren has held a variety of roles as a volunteer, trustee, staff member and as a freelancer. She is passionate about driving social change and sees the best in people and organisations; particularly helping them to manage their business through transition periods.
Lauren is an experienced trainer and facilitator, supporting development and building confidence across a wide range of areas, including funding and business planning.
Throughout her roles, the importance of partnership and collaborative working has remained, with in-depth experience working with Public Sector bodies both locally and regionally across South Wales. She enjoys pulling people together to consider problems creatively, from grass-roots people power through to multi-sector high value proposals.
Lauren has led for us on work with social enterprise business planning and feasibility studies, development of the HQ Social Innovation Hub, creation of our First Tuesday Club, and she has also delivered several workshops and training sessions to start-ups and third sector organisations.
